Tonight seems like as good a night as any to start this blog. I've been thinking about what to say here for over a year. But where to start...

I will start here. Tonight, I've been praying for a beautiful little toddler named Lily. She came home from China with her forever family in May of last year. And tonight, after 40+ days in the hospital and numerous surgeries and procedures to correct her failing heart, she is being lifted up in prayer by hundreds of people who have only met her through the Internet. I am one of her prayer warriors.

Sweet Lily and her mother Emily, and her beautiful family have endured so much, and touched so many.  Three years ago, my family endured a similar hardship and witnessed the power of loving prayer for our first daughter, Mia.

Memories come flooding back.

I will write about them someday here. But tonight, I will pray for Lily.
